Idea

For the theme "Calm before the storm" we thought it would be a fun idea to have a calm little idle clicker game (cheese in particular) and as the "storm" we focused on a more tower defense like approach, including mice that want to steal your cheese.

This is the first game we really created in a short time so we had the problem with getting way less done than actually needed. The game is an early prototype and the tower defense part is interesting to say the least.
The game is fully functional though, with self-made simple, simple graphics and sound and music from the asset store.

How To Play

Use your mouse to click and gain cheese, after the cheese truck arrives, you can sell your cheese and get money (the amount of money depends on the current stock rate of cheese to coins, which changes over time).

With your coins, you can buy turrets (help against the mice attack happening later), buy farmers (increase your click rate) or buy buildings (increase your cheese per second). The turrets you placed can also be upgraded if you click on them.

At a set time, the mice attack will begin and your turrets have to defend the mice from eating your cheese. If you lost all your health/the mice ate too much cheese, you will loose. If you successfully conquer the attack, you will be rewared with another calm phase before the storm of mice attacks again.

The game is won when you bought the moon (which is made of cheese, obviously).

Controls

Everything can be done with just the mouse. If you want to use auto-clicker to progress faster, do so. The fun you have is more important than following rules ;)
